Hello, Widefield School District WSD3 Community!
I’m Pamela Proal Jones, a candidate for the WSD3 Governing Board. I am a Proud Native Born Coloradoan from Security Colorado! I have lived in this amazing community for over 66 Years. My Family was instrumental in the development, expansion, and support of our beloved Community and Good Shepherd United Methodist Church . I am also a Proud Parent of my 3 Grown Children who also went through the district. I also Volunteered as a Youth Sports Coach year Round for 17 years for Widefield Parks and Recreation. Those were my Most Rewarding Years!
I am running to be a voice for you and your child. I want parents to know you have an advocate in me for you.

I am passionate about Students and Education, and I am ready and willing to put in the work. I ask that you join my Campaign of volunteers to hang flyers up around town, and helping me get the word out so voters know Who I am and What I Promise to Do and Be!

As a Candidate
As a candidate, I am focused on guiding our district towards these values. We must protect our children’s educational environment from bias and hidden agendas.
Student Wellness
Focusing on student wellness is also a priority. I am dedicated to advocating for programs that foster more than just academic achievement. These programs will support the overall well-being of our students. This includes providing mental health resources and offering a range of extracurricular activities.
Respecting Rules
We should teach our children to think for themselves while respecting rules and each other. Success comes from prioritizing what truly impacts and empowers our children. They must be prepared to contribute productively to society.
Critical Thinking
I want an education system that encourages intellectual growth and critical thinking. Children should learn how to think independently, not just what to think. It’s vital that education remains free from agendas of all types. These agendas can undermine our national pride, childhood innocence, and parental rights.
Common Sense
I believe in practical, common-sense solutions. These solutions address problems directly and efficiently.
